Last time, I was in my gaming room, I realized I have quite a lot of zines (these A5 DIY printed rules booklets) and that it would be nice to create a zine holder for them.
I love gaming zines, be it wargames, RPGs or supplement material. Sure, I could read the few pages on a phone or a tablet, but I personally don’t enjoy it.

This tutorial guides you through the few easy steps to follow.
You’ll need
- Our free template
- Sturdy cardboard
- Box cutter
- Glue
- Optionally: marble paper or other decorative paper

Assembly instructions
- Grab some card board, scissors and glue.
- Print the first page at 100% on A4.
- Print the second page at 100% on A3.
- Trace templates on sturdy cardboard.
- Cut along the continuous lines.
- Fold along the dotted lines.
- Fold along the 5 tabs.
- Glue the side walls to the bottom part.
- Paint and decorate to your liking.
- Apply labels (5cm x 3cm)

The following step is optional, but recommended as it gives the cardboard boxes the final touch.
Use the spine template on page 3 of the PDF to trace it on decorative paper of your taste. Then glue it around the spine of your DIY Zine holder.

Now, it’s just a matter of cutting and gluing. I used spray adhesive for this step, but a glue stick should work just as well.

Et voilà: the finished product!

So, the next time you purchase a game from Wargame Vault, print it, fold it, and staple it. You’ve got DIY Zine Holder to store it now!
Enjoy your well organized zine collection!
