With a total of 20 posts written, we ranked at only 50% compared to 2024. Time, family duties, motivation and a possible lack of interest at moments are definitely factors leading to our worst score yet…
We’ll need to come up with something else.
Maybe an additional, illustrated, snappy format focused on hobby progress or any other simple content might work. However, it should still be relevant and of interest to our readers. And it should exclude social media and YouTube. Since, this year, we decided to close down our social media accounts, since they were not bringing us any benefits/traffic to our blog.

Website traffic
Our site, according to Google and Jetpack statistics seems to get lots of attention from you readers. Compared to 2024, the number of visits to our blog increased by nearly 47%. That’s a bit less than 2024, but still very strong. By being consistent with our SEO strategy, our posts are well positioned in search engines, still our number 1 referrer out there.
We received very nice comments from you, as well as some likes. In addition to that, our Discord server is well used by our armchair generals.
Statistics tell us, that visitor numbers are still increasing year after year. And, statistics never lie, they say.

2025 is, games-wise, another historic low for us, even compared to 2024! This was mainly due to family duties and other priorities. Again … .

As said, adult life made it very difficult to play more games.

As in previous years, we met at the usual venues like LuxCon, the Butschebuerger Buergfest and the Steam Punk Convention.
We sporadically hosted our weekly Motivation Discord online meetings (during the 2nd half of the year).
That said, soon we’ll have a general meeting where we’ll discuss ideas and plans for 2026, as well as this year’s LUXCON.
