LUXCON 2026 is over, and we’d like to share our thoughts as well as some pictures and impressions with you. We really enjoyed these two days of pure, unadulterated tabletop joy. When we set up our booth, we had one mission: to prove that wargaming isn’t just a niche pastime. It’s a creative and fun hobby thriving on a vibrant, welcoming community.
Enjoy the pictures we took and the impressions we had at LUXCON 2026.

Introducing kids to One Page Rules
We know that a lot of wargames can be intimidating. That’s why we leaned again into One Page Rules (OPR) this year. Strangely enough, our OPR games nearly exclusively attracted the younger crowd. We were able to get kids rolling dice within minutes. Seeing 10-year-old generals outmaneuver us veteran players because the mechanics were intuitive was a highlight of the weekend!

High-Octane Mayhem and Historical Might
The energy and the positive vibes at our tables were contagious!
We hosted two massive multiplayer Gaslands events. There is nothing quite like the collective “Wow” of a crowd when a custom-painted Matchbox car is pushed through a miniature wasteland.

Also, congratulations to Daniel for sticking with us for a 2 hours + Race and winning the trophy!

We were particularly proud of our sessions with younger players. Not only with One Page Rules. Using historical units provided a fantastic bridge between gaming and education, proving that kids enjoy history and the tactical depth of Kings of War Historical.

The “Wargaming Dads” and the “Hidden Community”
Besides introducing new generations to wargaming, some of the most inspiring moments came from our “Wargaming Dad” talks. We sat down with parents to discuss their experiences with the hobby and balancing miniature wargaming with family life and the benefits of sharing a tactical game with their children.
The biggest takeaway from LuxCon 2026? There are far more people in this hobby than we ever imagined. From curious onlookers to “closet” painters, the community is bigger than you might think.
Thank you all for making it a weekend to remember.
Thank you!
Also huge thanks to my fellow gentlemen Olivier and David, for making our second presence at LUXCON a huge success once more.
Many thanks to Gérard and his team for organizing the Convention each year and for providing us with a prime location.
And last but not least, big thanks to all of you, enthusiastic people having visited our booth.

See you in 2027!
